A 6-Day Silent Vipassana Meditation Retreat in Toronto with Pascal Auclair & Anushka Fernandopulle

Thursday (5 pm), May 7 – Wednesday (noon), May 13, 2015

233 Cummer Avenue, Willowdale, Toronto

Could it be that living with a sense of fullness and freedom is possible only through a quality connection with the life around and inside of us? During this retreat we will explore how to give careful attention to our senses and our heart while cultivating balance of mind, friendliness and clarity. All this will set the right conditions for wisdom to arise naturally. While sitting and walking with meditative presence, and through silence and guidance from the teachers, we will discover for ourselves what is possible in this very life.

An announcement from Michael

Dear Friends,

After almost a year of planning, next week we unveil the Meditation Instructor Mentorship Program (MIMP), based in Vancouver, yet designed for students who are able to travel. Here is a sneak preview of what I think is a very unique training. Please have a look at the link and pass it on to anyone you think may be interested.

...If you are looking to deepen your facilitation of meditation, start a group, or simply be accountable to deepen your own practice within a structured learning format, this is the time:

Just sitting, just eating.

Sunday August 17th Elaine will be hosting a sit at her home in Mount Albert. We will start at 10am, practice until noon, and then share a potluck lunch. There is no public transportation to her home but she can organize to pick people up from the bus stop at Aurora Rd and Hwy 404 (there is a bus leaving from Union Station at 8:10 am that will stop in Aurora at 8:40). There are two southbound trains from Newmarket in the afternoon that will get you back to Union Station, as well as intermittent buses. If the weather is nice we can have a bonfire :). Carpools may also be available.

Please let Elaine know if you are planning to come by emailing her at piercelaine@gmail.com at least one week in advance (by August 10th) so that we can get transportation figured out. Looking forward to some rural practice :).
