A Commemorative Animation For Michael Stone

A Commemorative Animation For Michael Stone

Like many of us.  Michael Stone was my Zen and yoga teacher and dharma friend.

When I first heard the news of his coma my heart and stomach sank with everyone in disbelief.  I prayed at my altar to his photograph as his life hung in the balance.  When he was taken off of life support I placed his image on the ground and began to trace it.

2018 AUTUMN NON-RESIDENTIAL MEDITATION RETREAT

Hi friends,

The dates for the 2018 Gravity non-residential weekend meditation retreat are set: October 19-21. This is a great opportunity to slow down and take time to tune in as the seasonal rhythm also slows down and turns inwards.

I will be hosting the retreat in the new house, which has fewer spaces available than the last one (fourteen) so spots will be reserved initially for those who can attend the full weekend.

No one will be turned away from the retreat. Gravity can offer financial assistance if it will enable you to attend.

Warmly,

Grant

SPRING AWAKENING

APRIL 6-8 With Grant Hutchinson & Rose Riccio

The practice of Spring is awakening. As the snow melts and small sprouts emerge from the earth, we can sit with our own potential to awaken, unfold and blossom into the present moment. Take the time during this weekend retreat to slow down in a supportive environment with sitting and walking meditation, on the cushion and in the woods. The charming, off grid centre, Harmony Dawn, is located near Rice Lake, Ontario. You will be nourished by Nicola's fantastic yin-yang balanced vegetarian cooking, while rooting in silent community, with yourself, the birds, the changing light and the fertile earth.

Early Bird rate $360+HST before Feb 15th

Regular rate $385+HST after Feb 15th
